Jeffrey Forsythe has gained a reputation for illuminating social concepts with exactitude and decadent finishes. His background in fine woodworking lends a hand in his prolific body of work created since receiving a Masters in Fine Arts in 2002 from the University of New Orleans. He has exhibited widely in Chicago, New Orleans, Miami, Los Angeles and New York. Among these, were SOFA Art in Chicago, New Orleans Museum of Art, Miami-Art Basel, Makeshift Museum L.A., Dieu Donne, N.Y. and PS 1, N.Y.

He recently moved outside Chicago and bought a farmstead in Manhattan, Il. where he is working to build an outdoor mural project gallery and art residency.
